All programs and services are suspended until further notice.
Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, we have suspended our programs in all hospitals and clinics until further notice. As soon as we are advised that it is safe for patients and our volunteers to resume programming, we will be up and running, bringing comfort and care to people as they receive outpatient chemotherapy treatment.
Until then, please visit our Facebook page, where we provide a `virtual’ program of links to inform, entertain, help you with self care and comfort you during these unusual times.
BRINGING YOU COMFORT
& SUPPORT DURING YOUR INFUSIONS
“Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” ~World Health Organization’s 1948 Constitution
Cancer Wellness Connections is an independent program bringing activities to all people receiving outpatient infusion treatment at 6 Rochester-area clinics. Regardless of type of cancer or chronic illness, regardless of age or gender, these services are available to you and your accompanying support people.
Our program not only designed to comfort and help you within the confines of the infusion room, but also give you tips and techniques that help you moving forward. Focusing on ways to reduce stress, promoting mindfulness and relaxation will help not only during treatment, but beyond as you navigate your new normal.
Activities available year round, Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.—12 p.m.. Check the location calendars for details.
